The Bridge Ministry, Nashville, TN
On August 19th, a crew of six from The Open Door Church made the trip to Nashville, TN to volunteer at The Bridge Ministry. Every Tuesday night, regardless of the weather, they provide a hot meal, food to go, and toiletry items to the homeless under the Jefferson Street bridge. It was a very humbling experience serving over 600 needy people and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. Plans are in the works to take a larger group to help out again soon.
